  • Enugu State Cancels Monthly Sanitation Over UTME

The Enugu State Government has canceled the monthly environmental sanitation exercise previously scheduled for Saturday, April 24, to allow candidates to participate in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Secretary to the State Government, Chidiebere Onyia, announced that there would be no movement restrictions on that day. Residents were, however, encouraged to maintain cleanliness in their surroundings.

A total of 2,030,627 candidates nationwide are registered for this year’s UTME, including 41,026 applicants under the age of 16.
