A recent traumatic experience involving Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has swiftly turned into an unexpected windfall, as Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu, reportedly donated a significant sum to the actress’s foundation. Martins confirmed in a video shared on her Instagram page on Friday, October 17, that she received the substantial sum of N20 million from the younger Tinubu, who also pledged his support for her community outreach efforts.
The generous intervention by Seyi Tinubu comes shortly after the actress publicly cried out, alleging she was assaulted by uniformed men—presumed to be Lagos State’s Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) officials—while she was preparing and serving food to less privileged residents on the street. The incident garnered wide public sympathy and condemnation.
In the emotional video documenting the moment she received the donation from Tinubu’s team, Martins was visibly moved to tears and offered fervent prayers for the President’s son. She posted a grateful message online, declaring the transformation of her experience “From DISGRACE to GRACE.”
“From the office of the President, our philanthropic youth leader MR SEYI TINUBU just supported my NGO with 20,000,000,” Martins wrote. She added that Seyi Tinubu “didn’t only give me 20,000,000 but also promised to take my FREE FOOD CHARITY OUTREACH to the next level.”
The actress’s social media post was immediately flooded with congratulatory messages from celebrities and fans, who viewed the donation as a divine reward for her charitable work.
