Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo has announced that President Bola Tinubu will visit the state on May 8, 2025, to commission key infrastructure projects completed under his administration. The disclosure came during the 2025 Workers’ Day celebration at Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, where Soludo framed the visit as a testament to strengthened collaboration between the state and federal government.

“This partnership reflects our shared commitment to progress,” Soludo stated, urging workers and residents to extend a warm welcome to the President. While specifics of the projects were not disclosed, the governor emphasized they represent milestones achieved over his three-year tenure, spanning critical sectors aimed at transforming Anambra’s economic and social landscape. The event marks Tinubu’s first official visit to the state since Soludo assumed office, signaling potential alignment on developmental priorities.
