Former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, on Friday visited Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah as part of ongoing efforts to reposition the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a post on X, Saraki said the visit was part of his mandate as chairman of the PDP Strategy and Way Forward Committee, aimed at charting a clear future for the party. He was accompanied by Senator Seriake Dickson and former Gombe State Governor, Ibrahim Dankwambo.

“We’re here to have the necessary conversations – frank, focused, and long overdue – as we work to reposition our party for the future it deserves,” Saraki stated.
The meeting in Enugu is one of several consultations the committee is holding with PDP stakeholders across the country as the party seeks to rebuild and strengthen its structure ahead of future elections.
